The Leaflet Lounge provides practical resources designed to support continued learning and confident decision-making.
Built by healthcare professionals who understand the fast-paced demands of the Cath Lab, this platform is a place to review essential information, strengthen clinical knowledge, and stay prepared for the procedures and technologies shaping cardiovascular care.

Structural Heart Coordinator
I’m Kristina Mack, a registered nurse with a passion for cardiovascular care, clinical education, and supporting healthcare professionals as they grow in their practice.
My nursing career began in the Emergency Room, where I developed a strong foundation in critical thinking, rapid assessment, and caring for patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. I later transitioned into the Cath Lab, where I discovered a passion for cardiovascular procedures and the constantly evolving world of interventional and structural heart care.
Today, my work focuses on Structural Heart, where I combine my clinical experience, education, and love of teaching to help coordinate complex patient care while supporting the nurses, technologists, and multidisciplinary professionals who make these programs successful.
Education has always been an important part of who I am as a nurse. I believe that when healthcare professionals have access to practical, understandable, and reliable resources, they can feel more confident in their roles and better prepared to care for their patients.
That passion for learning and teaching is what inspired The Leaflet Lounge—a place where I can share knowledge, resources, and real-world insights from the Cath Lab and Structural Heart environment.
My goal is simple: make learning approachable, strengthen clinical knowledge, and help heart teams grow together.
